Eleven-year-old Hattie Hugo has one wish: to meet her rock-n-roll hero, Elvis Presley. She’s in absolute swoon-ville when she discovers there’s a singing contest in nearby Winnipeg with a very special grand prize: The best singer gets to meet Elvis in person!
But Hattie has two big problems. First, she doesn’t have the money for the contest, which means she’ll need to find a way to make cash fast. And second, she can’t sing a lick.
